What a weekend! Kendal Calling 2024 was an absolute blast, and we’re still buzzing from the energy and excitement that filled the fields of the Lake District. Over the course of four epic days, the Dovetail team had the privilege of serving up a whopping 10,000 drinks to festival-goers who were ready to party. From refreshing cocktails to ice-cold brews, we were in the heart of the action, keeping the good vibes going from day to night.
The Cocktail Lineup: Paloma, Aperol Spritz & More!
Our star cocktail of the weekend? The ever-refreshing Paloma! It was the perfect mix of tangy and sweet, with Casamigos tequila adding that smooth kick everyone loves. Right behind it was the crowd-favorite Aperol Spritz, an ideal sip for sunny afternoons in the fields. These drinks were a hit, offering the perfect refreshing pause for festival-goers who needed to recharge before diving back into the music.

Behind the bar, we had a dream team of five who kept the drinks flowing with speed, precision, and a big smile. Working from our signature pink HY cocktail can, we made sure the bar wasn’t just a place to grab a drink – it was a full-on experience! The bright pink can was a festival landmark, and you couldn’t miss the fun atmosphere as soon as you approached. From mixing up cocktails to chatting with festival-goers, our team brought energy and enthusiasm to every shift.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Kendal Calling without some unforgettable moments. Whether it was the spontaneous dance-offs near the bar, the cheers of appreciation for a perfectly mixed Paloma, or the endless selfies taken in front of our pink can, we loved every minute of it.
